Later yesterday the pilot's panel and the lower switch panels returned from the engraving shop. Ryan carefully looked them over and made sure they were properly marked and as only our luck would be, the right lower switch panel is incorrectly marked. The 10 and 20 degree marking for the flaps wasn't in the proper position. Good catch on Ryans part, now is the time find errors before everything is reassembled. What will we do now you ask? Simple, the panel will be shipped back to the powder coaters, stripped and recoated and then is off to the engravers (again); hopefully this time they will get it right.
The pilot's panel, circuit breaker panel and left, lower switch panel
came out as they should. Soon Ryan will start installing the panels, the wiring
is the cockpit is progressing well. As I've mentioned before, detail is what
counts and now is not the time to over look the details. Stay tuned, there's a
lot more to come.
