Finally, we have some panels fit for a king to install in Mr. Ford's machine. The panels are a gray textured coating with white letterings and the lower switch panels are textured black with white markings. That wrinkly look you see on the huge UPSAT MX20 is a protective covering that will be removed once the project is completed. Instruments are being placed in the right side of the aircraft now. The last 10% of any project takes 50% of the time. Detail is very important; the customer expects the avionics to work as it should but it's got to look like a one of a king aircraft.
The lower switch panels that house all the circuit breakers, switches and dimmers are by far harder to design and fabricate over the large upper panels. Each aircraft is different and the panels are designed to fit only this aircraft. Due to the large differences in aircraft, we will not fabricate panels to ship out, they just don't fit properly unless me have the aircraft to measure.
